Kimball Family Before & Afters

Unfortunately, we usually fail to take before & after shots of projects that we do- We sure have plenty of "befores" (for our research)but always get busy working and never get to the "afters"...Well, we lucked out this time. One of our latest projects for the Kimballs- (LOVE them), was photographed by their talented sister shortly after our install. Check out her photo blog.

Forgive the poorly lit before photos, they were purely for our reference- but thought you would enjoy seeing the transformation-

The pool table found a new home...

Living Room/ After:

The Kimballs loved this Hacienda sofa- it became our inspiration for this room. We added touches of black to accompany the "new addition" that will soon be arriving at the Kimball home- (a BABY..... a baby grand that is!) It is sure to be a great room for family concerts and gatherings.Family Room Before:


Family Room After:
The Kimball family originally had these comfy leather pieces in their front room. After working with them on the floor plan, we decided the best solution was to use them in the family room- this helped stretch the design budget and enabled them to get a new piece that they had their hearts set on for the living room!- We love to help our clients find new ways to use what they already own-

The goal was a fresh look for their family space while keeping it practical and kid friendly- *the leather & a distressed/ reclaimed table with an industrial feel was a perfect solution! We added some fun pillows, a side table. some accessories mixed in with their own & a collage photo wall. VOILA!


Niches don't have to be intimidating... think simple~the slipcovered barstools are from Lee Industries.
